I started this little acrylic painting on a lovely spring day, camping trip at Mt Shasta. I was camped at a high elevation near Panther Meadows campground, sitting on the tailgate of my Honda Element with the beautiful mountain in full view. While I didn’t literally paint the mountain in this one, I was feeling it’s energy and did my best to translate what I felt at the moment. I really like the sense of movement in this painting and the strange way the colors shift into one another.
