Poppy flower and orbiting poppy pod moons. Everything is a microcosm of the whole, the formation of the flower is the same as the formation of the entire universe. This painting was inspired by a walk through the backstreets of Moksha’s old neighborhood in West Seattle when he came across a magical poppy flower blooming in a sidewalk garden. The flower seemed to expand out and swirl around a central vibrant sun. Indeed, everything emanates from a center point. The original oil painting is reproduced here as a beautiful giclee print on heavy weight archival paper.
