"Power Grace and Wisdom" 18x18 giclee paper print
Owl, Snake, Deer, Bear, Fox, Rabbit, Monarch butterfly and some tiny fireflies are all represented here in this portrait to the animals that inhabit the forest and who are affected by forest fires that have been on the rise recently on the West Coast of the United States. I have especially felt the impact in the PNW around Washington State. I wanted to paint this acrylic painting as a pray for these creatures and for their well being and the future of our forests and our own neighborhoods. So many people have lost their homes due to fires in recent years and so it's not just the animals that are displaced, but in this painting that was my focus.
