This painting represents the birth of a new consciousness: one where humankind and the natural world evolve together, because of one another. It shows life and death in balance, from the snake eating the egg to the explosion of blossoms from the crown of new life. The eye of consciousness is born at the center point, at the place where these two sentient beings meet. Again, Moksha is mixing regions, combining tropical plants and plants from his home in the Pacific Northwest; favorites like dandelion, blackberry and carnivores plants are represented here.
