This painting may have been influenced by psychedelics. It has a wild swirling and colorful energy that is slightly out of character for my abstract work.
It can be displayed at any orientation the view chooses. I could never decide which way was up. It looks good both horizontally and vertically. It’s up to the owner how to hang the painting.
“Organized Chaos” was started at the old Haven building, when they were still an unknown yet legendary underground art collective that went on to become a big thriving above-ground operation, of which I am now a full time member. Back then I was still living in Seattle and would come down on occasion to hang out with my Portland artist family and paint all night.
