"Sacred Water" 12x15 giclee paper print
About:
I painted this while living in the woods of Duvall, in beautiful Washington State. I was imagining a place deep in the woods, a sanctuary for the animals who lived there and who came to this quiet place for water and refuge. Perhaps it is inaccessible to humans and remains a secret.
I was having a lot of fun with the sky in this one. The energy in the clouds suggests movement and change. A new dawn, perhaps. Oh, and I threw in the bear just because I love bears and their peacefulness.
